Apply for the AI Learning Lab
WPTI invites workforce development programs to apply to participate in our brand-new AI Learning Lab, designed and offered in partnership with Meet the Moment.
As AI and AI-driven tools play an increasing role in our workplace, and as AI skills become increasingly critical in the labor market, workforce development providers need to understand how to adapt – and quickly. The AI Learning Lab is a research-backed, cohort-based learning model designed to help you and your organization safely, ethically, and effectively incorporate AI into your operations and programming, and to help equip your team and organization with the digital fluency necessary to prepare jobseekers for an increasingly digital work environment. By combining structured peer accountability, project-based learning, and community support, we aim to transform a 4-week training (four half-day sessions) into sustained organizational change.
These in-person sessions will take place on Fridays from 10 am–2 pm EST on October 31, and November 7, 14, and 21 at WPTI's office in Midtown Manhattan.
What’s Included?
Live sessions with AI-coded presentation material
Hands-on learning with workforce development focus
Interactive workshops tailored to workforce professionals
All participating organizations will engage in a project focused on actual organizational AI initiatives, with ongoing support following the completion of the course.
Following our four-week course, participants will have access to weekly (virtual) peer accountability groups to support with their ongoing work (including their organizational AI project), as well as weekly Q&A office hours with Meet the Moment experts, peer problem-solving opportunities, and shared resources. Using the Circle.so learning platform, participants will have continued access to all course materials, as well as discussion forums.
Who Should Apply?
WPTI's AI Learning Lab is designed for organizational teams of 2–3 people, in positions exposed to AI and/or AI-based platforms, and who can influence the usage of AI within their organization. An ideal team would include at least one person at a Program Director level or above, along with an individual at a frontline level or above.
How to Apply
The Program Director (or other senior member of the team applying) should complete this application. Please submit only one application per organization. Please note: this is a competitive process.
Contact Justin Collins, Senior Director of Programs, with questions about the application or eligibility.
Applications are due Wednesday, October 15, by 5 pm EST. WPTI will notify organizations accepted to the program or placed on the wait list by Monday, October 21, 2025. At that point, all participating organizations, including staff and their direct supervisors will be required to submit a commitment form by Friday, October 24, 2025.
