Our AI Initiatives
The world of tomorrow is here. As employers adopt artificial intelligence tools to screen resumes, match jobseekers to jobs, and conduct interviews, this new technology is quickly reshaping the world of work, for better and for worse.
At WPTI, we believe AI should expand opportunities, not limit them, and we’re committed to ensuring practitioners feel confident navigating this rapidly changing landscape. By building knowledge together, we can ensure AI becomes a bridge to opportunity—not another barrier—for the communities we serve.
OUR AI VISION
We envision a workforce ecosystem that can effectively and equitablynavigate AI-driven labor market shifts, where organizations move from awareness to action, adopt AI responsibly, and equip jobseekerswith the skills needed to access quality jobs and advance economic mobility.

AI Learning Lab
WPTI invites workforce development programs to apply to participate in our AI Learning Labs, designed and offered in partnership with Meet the Moment.
As AI and AI-driven tools play an increasing role in our workplace, and as AI skills become increasingly critical in the labor market, workforce development providers need to understand how to adapt – and quickly. The AI Learning Lab is a research-backed, cohort-based learning model designed to help you and your organization safely, ethically, and effectively incorporate AI into your operations and programming, and to help equip your team and organization with the digital fluency necessary to prepare jobseekers for an increasingly digital work environment. By combining structured peer accountability, project-based learning, and community support, we aim to transform a 4-week training (four half-day sessions) into sustained organizational change. In Learning Lab session 3 of 4, participants built real applications in Lovable during a hands-on Vibe Coding session. Several are already making use of this work at their organizations.
“In just four weeks, the combination of expert instructors and a rich, well-structured curriculum completely transformed my understanding of AI from skepticism to enthusiasm."
