We are workforce! WPTI staff celebrates 20 great years.
Thank you for a night to remember!
On May 20, 2025, WPTI celebrated its 20th anniversary with a room full of supporters, partners, staff, and friends. We honored the inimitable Patricia “Pat” Jenny, who planted the initial seeds for WPTI and then grew it through her tireless dedication. Looking ahead, WPTI seeks to train 10,000 workforce development professionals by 2030, which will translate into better jobs, greater economic mobility, and increased equity for 1,000,000 talented workers. Please join us as we multiply our impact across New York City and the country.

Watch our program, featuring remarks and our panel discussion—inspired by the principle of Sankofa ("learning from the past to build the future”)—that reflected on the evolution of workforce development and explored innovations for the next two decades.
