Bidding Farewell to Blake Foote

We extend our deepest gratitude to Board Member Blake Foote, who is concluding more than 13 years of dedicated service to WPTI.

Blake's leadership has shaped our organization in countless ways. Over the years, she has served as Board Chair, Interim CEO, and an unwavering advocate for WPTI's mission. Her guidance, wisdom, and generosity have helped position WPTI for continued growth and impact.

"Blake has been so much more than a Board member. She has been a trusted advisor, connector, and steadfast champion of WPTI for more than 13 years. Her belief in strengthening organizations, her deep relationships and experience across the workforce field, and her generous leadership as Board Chair, Interim CEO, and Board member have left an indelible mark on WPTI. We are incredibly grateful for her years of service and friendship," reflected WPTI Board Chair Maya Washington.

WPTI CEO Sherazade Langlade said that the organization would not be where it is today with Blake’s steadfast guidance.

“Thank you, Blake, for your commitment to building WPTI into the organization it is today. You prepared us for all of the exciting opportunities ahead,” Sherazade says.
